Building Trades 1 students are finishing up the semester by putting the final touches on their end tables in Mr. Nolan Otremba’s class. As part of the last step, students learned how to complete a tile inlay for the tabletop.
Throughout the semester, they have worked on shop safety, proper wood cutting techniques, dowel and pocket hole joinery, and tiling and finishing their projects. It’s been great to see their skills develop and their hard work come together in a completed project.
