Whitewater Unified School District's Vision for Technology Use
The Whitewater Unified School District is dedicated to empowering all students and educators to effectively use technology to enhance critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, innovation, and real-world problem-solving.
By integrating technology in a strategic and meaningful way, we enable students to become active participants in their own education, preparing them for success in a connected, global society.
Students in the Whitewater Unified School District have access to technology resources that are chosen based on educational need, and what's developmentally and age-appropriate.
Devices
All students in grades 5K - 12 have access to Chromebooks:
Students in Grades 6-12 each have a Chromebook individually assigned which they bring to and from school each day; and
Students in grades 5k-3 utilize Chromebooks in a shared-device environment - each classroom has a cart of Chromebooks that can be used during the school day under the direction of the teacher.

I started in the Whitewater Unified School District in July of 2015. I worked for the Middleton Cross-Plains area School district during the 2014-2015 school year. I have a Bachelor's degree from UW-Whitewater in Management in Computer Systems with a Minor in Website Development and Administration. While going through college, I worked at the Whitewater Unified School District as a Technology Intern. In my free time, I enjoy competing in powerlifting, playing guitar, hiking, and watching Netflix. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
