Medication at School
Medication should be administered at home whenever possible. If it is necessary for a student to take medication at school please follow the District's policy and procedure on medication administration.
The Administering Medications to Students form will need to be completed and turned in to the school office before your child will be allowed to have medication at school. Please note that over-the-counter medication requires a parent's signature only and can't exceed the manufacturer's recommended dosage. Prescription medication requires both the prescribing provider's signature and the parent's signature before the medication will be administered at school. If you have any questions regarding medication at school, please contact student health services at your student's school.
