Library Activities
Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program that encourages students to read a selection of books and then compete in quiz-style competitions based on the content of those books. Students form teams and work together to read a list of pre-selected books, covering various genres and reading levels. The competitions test their knowledge of the books, characters, plots, and themes.
Book Fairs
The Scholastic Book Fair is a twice-a-year event that serve as fundraisers for our many programs; Battle of the Books, reading incentives, classroom library support, and book giveaways for 4K-5th grade. These events also provide students with the chance to explore a diverse selection of books and foster a love for reading, all while contributing to the enrichment of their educational experience.
