On November 6, residents of the Whitewater Unified School District will have an opportunity to vote on a referendum question that will appear on the regular election ballot.
The school board decided to place the question on the ballot after an inclusive process involving community members throughout the Whitewater area. We have engaged the community to help us find solutions that balance the District’s needs with those of our local taxpayers.
The District and board are proposing a solution that allows us to maintain the programs and services available to our students now and in the years to come. We must do so while making the most efficient use possible of the money taxpayers have invested in our local schools.
