• Automatic: Many families qualify automatically through a system called 'Direct Certification' which connects to state systems to identify eligible students.

  • Families who qualify automatically will receive a letter around the end of July indicating eligibility

• Manual: Families who do not receive a letter in July may apply manually on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or print and complete a paper application (paper applications are also available at all district schools and the district Central Office)

  • Please wait until August 15 to apply for an upcoming school year and only apply if you have not received a letter in the mail

  • The online application can be found in the parent portal under More -> Meal Benefits

• Applying for a school year that hasn't started yet:

  • Please wait until August 15 if you are applying for a future school year and only apply if you have not received a letter in the mail

• Applying for a school year that has started:

  • If the school year has started, you may apply on the parent portal after you have set up your parent portal account
