Singers Participate in Various Honors Choirs
A number of Whitewater High School choral students haveparticipated in honors choirs over the past 4 months. There were 4 students selected to participatein the WSMA State Mixed Honors Choir on October 27, 2011 at the Wisconsin StateMusic Educators Convention in Madison. These students were Shawn Carey, Angela Kalas, James Letellier, and JohnBresser.
On January 14, 2012 3 women and 5 men were selected to participatein the Wisconsin Choral Directors State Honors Choir held in Waukesha. Participating in the Women's Honors Choir wereMegan Ketterhagen, Callie Boydston and Ally Beckum. Participating in the Men's Honors Choir wereBen Hanson, Josh Pelayo, Roland Luckett, John Bresser and Connor Dalzin.
On February 11, 2012, WHS will have 2 students whoselected to participate in the American Choral Directors' North CentralDivision Honors Choir in Madison. Theyare James Letellier and Shawn Carey. Allof these students were sponsored by the Whitewater Music Parent Association.

Power Study Nights with NHS
National Honor Society members hosted an event called, "Power Study Night with NHS" in the LMC from 4 - 7 p.m. on Monday night, January 16. WHS students were treated to free pizza at the end of a great night of study!

Washington Heroes Breakfast
Members of the Whitewater Police Dept. enjoyed a heroes breakfast with students and staff at Washington School.
