Player and Coaches Participate in All Star Games The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association held their annual all star games in Madison on Saturday, June 20. Whitewater High School girls' basketball coaches Judy Harms and Matt Amundson coached the division 2 girls' south team. Class of 2009 graduate Miles Hookstead played on the division 2 boys' south team.

Students in DC for National Competition Four students just finishing their freshman year at Whitewater High School traveled to Washington DC to take part in the national level of the National History Day competition. On Wednesday, June 17 they visited Representative Paul Ryan's office, and on Thursday, June 18 they took part in the awards ceremony. Students competed locally and at the regional and state level before earning the trip to Washington.

Graduates Celebrate The Whitewater High School graduation ceremony took place on Sunday, June 14 at 2:00 pm in the high school gymnasium. Highlights of the ceremony included speeches by the five valedictorians and teacher Mrs. Esther Weitzel. Mock Wedding Held Too young to get married, but not too young to learn how to plan for your future. Attorney John Dade performs a mock wedding for Alma and Jesus and students in the Family and Consumer Sciences class Single and Married Living. Students studied marriage customs, laws, and personal commitment. Culmination of the unit was the mock wedding ceremony.
