Summer School 2018
June 18 - July 13
(No classes on July 4th)

WUSD summer school is open to all students that will be entering 4k in 2018 (4 by Sept. 1, 2018) through 12th grade.

Due to a change in the registration systems, the process for signing up for summer school will be VERY different this year.  Please read carefully.  We arw optimistic that once we work through the transition that using our own system will provide better scheduling and more opportunities for our students.

Enrollment

If you are already attending one of our schools in the district, you are already “enrolled.” You are ready to select courses for summer. To do so, you will need to have online access to the parent portal of Infinite Campus (our current district student management system) All parents have access to the I.C. Parent portal, and if you use this tool to check lunch account balances, or look at school grades, you are already set. Information will be provided on how to log-in. If you have additional questions, please contact your building secretary. It will be important that you take the time to make sure that you can log into the parent portal between now and April 16th.

Course Information
Course offering and information will be made available online as well as printed and sent to families on April 9th.

Course Selection

Families will be able to select Summer School Courses in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal between

Monday, April 16th - Friday, May 4th.  Course Selections will not be accepted after May 4th!

Computer labs at Washington, Lincoln, and Lakeview will be open April 16 from 4-7pm for those needing computer access or assistance.  ELL staff will be available April 16 from 3:15-4:30 at Washington Room 403 and in the High School Library.

Selecting a course will not guarantee that you are entered into that course. The software will look at all selections and available course to build a schedule that best meets the needs of the most students possible. You will see that times and sessions will no longer be part of the selection process for most courses.  We will be working with individual families in May to ensure that schedules are filled and that the needs of our students and families are being met.

Parents will be notified when schedules are available.

Summer School Walk-Through

June 17, 5:00-6:30 PM
As we have done in the past, families will be able to visit the high school and walk through student schedules so that students feel comfortable moving from class to class when school begins.
