My name is Diana Hoffman. I’m a registered nurse providing school health services to the student and staff of Whitewater Unified School District through a contract with Fort HealthCare. I’ve been an employee with Fort HealthCare for over 29 years, with the last 21 years working in the field of school nursing. I graduated from UW- Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 1983 and I received my National Certification in School Nursing in 2000. I find working in the field of school health services to be very rewarding. My philosophy in school nursing is summoned up well by a quote from former Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders who stated, “You cannot educate a child who is not healthy and you cannot keep a child healthy who is not educated”. I strive to provide services to students to keep them healthy and in school where they can be educated.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ken and son, Kyle. I also enjoy biking, running, swimming, taking enrichment classes, reading and traveling.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s health, please feel free to contact me.
